Ziad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Lebanese American University. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.

After spending 4 and 5 years respectively successfully pricing, underwriting, and developing property facultative reinsurance business for Arab Re and General Re for the MENA region, Ziad took on the challenge of leading AIG’s direct insurance operations by managing branches and developing non-life business in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

He later moved to the life insurance industry, joining ALICO-AIG’s regional office in DIFC Dubai as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, as well as Head of Employee Benefits for ALICO-AIG Gulf’s operation covering the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.

After spending a total of 9 years with the AIG Group, Ziad moved to head Arabia Insurance Company’s Life Division, which covered the company’s life operations in 6 Middle Eastern countries.

Ziad joined the company in 2014 leading LINK’s business development and working alongside its executive team.
