Jihad is a graduate of ESA Lebanon/ESCP France and holds a Masters in Finance. He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.

After years of successfully pricing, underwriting and developing treaty reinsurance for reinsurers such as GenRe and Arab Re in most non-life lines of business in the MENA region, Jihad took on the challenge to lead AIG’s direct insurance operations in Saudi Arabia. In this role, he developed AIG’s Western Province area in Saudi Arabia, managing a branch office in Jeddah, underwriting all lines of business and developing corporate and commercial insurance contracts for major local and international clients.

In addition to his experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, Jihad joined forces with a few professionals to develop the business of a nascent reinsurance broker and, after a few years of successful expansion, became the company’s Managing Director. As Managing Director, he led a team of more than 100 industry professionals and managed various areas of operation, including the treaty department, which he established when he joined the company.

In 2012, Jihad established LINK on the board of which he currently serves as a member.
