Her career spans more than three decades of insurance and reinsurance experience with
leading multinational companies in the MENA region.

Hala holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics – Economics from the American University of Beirut.

Hala joined Gen Re MENA Regional Office as a Non-Life Treaty Underwriter and Market
Representative for various territories in the Levant and GCC after starting her reinsurance career
at Arab Re.

She later joined AIG as General Manager of AIG Lebanon, where she assumed a leading
regional role covering the Levant region. After 13 years of successfully managing the company
and positioning it as an insurance center of expertise for commercial insurance products, Hala
was appointed Head of Sales for AIG’s Middle East and North Africa Zone, based in AIG’s
regional office in Dubai.

Hala has been leading the non-life departments at LINK since 2016.
